Introductory course in rattan basketry - Making a basket on a hoop During this introductory day, you will discover the basics of rattan basketry by making a basket on a hoop, a traditional work which allows you to approach the main gestures of the basketmaker. Guided throughout the day by Gisèle Jacquemin, you will learn to work rattan, to master the fundamental weaving techniques and to make a solid, elegant basket entirely made of your own. hands. No prior experience is necessary: this course is aimed at both beginners and people wishing to discover new artisanal know-how.
