Restoration and initiation to rattan work course During this three-day course, you will learn to restore one or more rattan objects while discovering the fundamental techniques of this artisanal know-how. The training will begin with an in-depth presentation of the material: its characteristics, its classification, its different sources as well as the supply chains. Depending on the restoration work undertaken, participants will be led to discover and practice several essential techniques: Assembly and covering Learning of the different methods allowing to assemble the rattan elements and to hide or enhance the junctions using specific attachment and ligature techniques.
