Description
A "cane puller" is a specific hand tool used to help tighten and adjust cane strands (rattan fibers) when caning chairs or other furniture. A cane puller is a thin, rigid tool with a slightly curved tip, often made of metal or beech wood. It is used to: Grip, pull, and adjust cane strands through the holes in the frame. Tighten the strands without damaging them, positioning them correctly in the cane mesh. Facilitate the passage of the strands from the back to the front of the seat during weaving.
